Classic & Vintage - Cannondale 1st 4-5 yrs identification/pix?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Does anyone know where one might find an online archive of available models from Cannondale for the 1st 4-5 years of production? I need to identify two bikes I haven't seen yet. Both are '83-'88 and I think one of them might be an '83-'84 touring bike.
Any ideas? Google wasn't very productive nor was Cannondales site.
Thx,
CPW

back in 1992 (before internet controlled everything) i had a question about my cannondale, so i called them on the phone. they asked for my bikes serial number and they mailed me a photocopy of all the bikes original information. mine was also from the first years. i have repainted it since then and can't remember exactly what it was, but i always think it was an alpine series or something like that.

This site has a smattering of photos of vintage Cannondales ATBs:

With a nice table of specs:

Only ATBs though, nothing for road bikes, at least that I've been able to find.

the old st-500, the first cannondale made - i had two of them (ble one, stolen, then a maroon one), one allegedly the first cannondale sold in michigan. one day i'm gonna scan and post the original documentation and sales brochure, a nice colo(u)r booklet.
This thread has some recollections on early Cdales and some (as usual) solid info from T-Mar. Worth a look.

I finally got one of the bikes. It's an MTB! I think its a really cool bike but alot of parts have been changed. I'll post some pix later for some advice. I think it's going to make an excellent commuter. More later
