Looks like a joke to me. Those appear to be concept bikes that have little or no chance of ever making it to a showroom floor.

I wasted a solid 15 minutes of my life doing that Specialized factory tour thing and I got to read about all of those hilarious protoypes. They even debuted "the world's oldest mountain bike" and it was just a joke. It was a Flinstones style constructed bike.
I also got to enter a draw to win a decibel helmet! I lost!

That was a funny bike. Loved the helmet that matched the bike. Thought of taking my old helmet, shove it in the mud, let dry. Then fasten a chicken bone to the front. Viola! you have a replica.
