Anyone have a suggestion for a 1" (or more with shim) 90mm threadless stem with a moderate degree of rise? I've been struggling with my negative rise stem for awhile with multiple types of bars and finally realized that my last fixie which had both a smaller frame and a moderate rise stem was way more comfy. Something cheap and decent looking would be great. Just a few degrees of rise I think would make a big difference.

What is the rise/drop on your current stem? Have you tried flipping it yet?

i use an fsa os170 stem, thats 90mm with like 6 degrees of rise/drop. But its for 31.8 bars. Lots of people make what you need. Check out a salsa moto ace sul stem. Tons of sizes.

The bike in question is a 55cm Pista (2003) with a Titec -15 degree 90mm stem. I just tried flipping it and it's feels too high. So something like that Nashbar one would be good, but in 90mm. Looks like they are out of the 90mm. I was looking at some of Soma's stems. They have a 90mm +/- 7 degree one for like $22 that looks pretty sweet.

Looks like from that "Pista Upgrade" thread, a lot of people find the reach too much.

Yeah, Ritchey Pro stuff is really nice. More durable than WCS, and better (cooler?) than Comp. My road bike has plenty of Ritchey Pro and you can't go wrong.

Salsa also makes stems in the full spectrum of lengths, and a few different angles of rise. I just got a Moto Ace 105 deg. rise in 90mm for my next buildup, this thing is built to last. Very tough looking.
