can anyone sort me out with manual/instructions on setting up and using shimano flight deck sc-6500. cheers.

I had the same problem and called them and they sent me a free copy of the manual.

Just make sure you request the 6500 and not the 6501. I have both and there's a difference in the setup and programming.
