Just saw this article (http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2005/08/17/BAGKTE8S2A1.DTL) on the Chronicle website. SF is paying bikers to ride around and drop anti-mosquito pellets into stordrains and catch basisns rather than spraying or using cars. Maybe SF isn't quite as bad for biking as I thought :rolleyes:
