Got a fixed gear whip now! She's is smurfette. 42 for my basketball number, 18 for Bison Dele's. 42-18. I live on a big hill, and like to ride big hills. wheel got in today at lbs. No lockring, the mechanic said it was threaded wrong? I didn't want to ruin threads, and I got one brake anyway. scrapped the powerless rear brake while I was at the lbs. I can get with the owner anyway, who promised me a durachee track cog for 20 bones, but surly is what came, marked as 30$. The mechanic didn't even know about chainline for fixed riding, so I just wanted to wheel up and get out. The owner says that he offers instant gratification. I definitely will have to go back in there and straighten things out.
I took off the other chainring sunday and got some 3 mm spacers and they seemed to work fine today with the new setup. Check my pics and see if everything looks good, I know there are some super wizards out there.
Test riding around town, everything felt super silky, new chain, new cog, new wheel, new feel, straight chainline.
7 mile commute tomorrow.

There're no lockring threads on either side of the hub?
