Security Officer vs College Studnet

I have a meeting with the Security Officer, who is the directory of security here at Edgewood College, and the Dean of Students. It was a big miss understanding, now I have my own bike parking pass, and I get my own parking spot in the parking ramp. This spot was a camera right on it, out of the rain, snow, and heat. I love it because the parking ramp is attached to the science building, is where I work, and where most of my classes are.

Glad things are working out. Keep your cool in the meeting and make sure to let the security guy know that you understand he was just trying to do his job. After a meeting like this you could end up with the director of security as a friend or an enemy, and a friend is more beneficial. You may even be able to talk your school into doing bicycle mounted security patrols.

You're a smart guy and probably know all of this, but at your age I would have probably tried to rub it in his face.

See, that's the beauty of the (Americanized) English language. You can butcher it to death and still get your meaning across. Even incorrect punctuation goes unnoticed by most people.

If you look at his courses, it's obvious he's cut out to become a hardcore geek (even his userID says so). So maybe he won't be expected to talk to normal people after he graduates anyway.
