Just a quick intro—
After years of running on a reconstructed ACL (old basketball injury), I decided to try something a little less jarring on my body as my fitness/stress releasing routine. Had an old Fisher hybrid bike and really got into riding it more for distance than on trails, so I decided to get my first road bike.
Test road a bunch of bikes and did a lot of research on these forums and other places online, and decided on a 2004 Bianchi Eros (obviously, in Celeste!) at a great LBS (Continental Bike in Hazel Park, for anyone from the area.) I absolutely love the bike and love this sport after my inaugural hour ride this morning.
So, that's me. Looking forward to gaining more experience, putting many miles on the bike and contributing in the forums.
Anyone around Royal Oak that wants to get out and ride, let me know.
Best,
Tom
