Introductions - Hello from Oklahoma

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

We are the Songer's, a family of three and new to biking. We have enjoyed our first week except for the sore rear ends. Hope that goes away with continued riding.

Yup, once your "posterior regions" get acclimated to your saddle, you'll be fine. Have fun on your rides, and check back here often for some great information and conversation! :D

Reply for Tulsa,
We are in the far southeast corner, a little town called Valliant. Almost Texas and almost Arkansas.

I've worked in the paper mill there in the 70's. Beautiful country and people in that area.
Got a goal for you. A fun ride called the "TOUR DE POSSUM" is held in Texarkana on Sept 14. It has ride of 8, 20, 40 & 65 miles.
It a great way to spend the day for the family. Maybe I'll see you there.
