Living Car Free - a tee shirt idea

i owen a small t-shirt company its all bike related t-shirts. i want to make a new one i htink its a good idea but im afraid some people will take it the wrong way so please give me your opnion on the front it would have an image of a bike above it would say "because i want to "and below "not because i have to" i dont want offend any one, but i want people to understand.

My all-time favorite bike shirt has a picture of a depressed looking cartoon man with a gas pump nozzle to his forehead, as if it were a gun and he wanted to commit suicide.

On the back, it says "Friends don't let friends drive."

I still have it, but it is so ratty by this point that I can't really wear it. Maybe you could make some more of these shirts? And send one to me?

I like it. People always think I'm poor because I ride my bike, but, I have money because I ride my bike. Oh well, first round is on me! How about one that says "Because I'm a patriot"?

It might sound a little uppity to someone who does have to, as in "I'm not like one of these poor bums who ride bikes because they have to, I'm doing it because I want to." The gas pump suicide image (or something similar) with a short & sweet caption underneath is perfect, and loses that unintended elitist feel.

Props for actually going forth w/ a T-shirt design -- I've had thoughts about stuff like this in the past, but could never get my lazy behind in gear to make it happen.

I just scored some of Giant's "It's My Duty To Ride" stickers, very cool! Has a kid with his hand over his heart, with an outline of the US behind him.

Are you printing on cotton, or a tech fabric?
Some of these Ideas would make cool jerseys for people like me who don't want to advertise someones stuff,(beer, bikes, ect....) without sponserships..

im printing on a 50/50 poly/cotton blend i can get a tech fabric but its alot more money so im thinking maybe a special order thing
