Are there any with a reputation similar to AARP?

In addition, California cyclists are blessed with the effective California Bicycle Coalition. Several counties, including San Diego and Orange, have very effective regional advocacy organizations (e.g. SDCBC). I have to believe Colorado and/or Denver-area cyclists have similar organizations.
