Commuting - cyclocomputer for less than $40

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Ive looked around a few site's and they all have basically the same features, except for cadence.
the cateye ones are recmommended alot do they have cadence?
I'm looking for:
Cadence
speed (current/max)
Trip Distance
clock
It would also be handy if I could use it on two bikes.
If any one knows of one that fits the bill please link to it
:D

I second the Astrale. I've got one on one of my bikes and it treats me well.

I third the Astrale. Mine seems to handle the weather very well too.

Planet Bike Protege computers ROCK!!!
Almost everything on one screen, no buttons, you move the whole display to change screens, easy to read. And cheap! I've had cateye wireless before and I like these much better.
Thanks everyone, the cateye had everything

I second the vote on the Planet Bike computer. It'd nice to have everything displayed at once so you don't have to mess with it. I only touch it at the beginning of the ride to zero it.
Dunno if they have a model with cadence, as I don't care about that feature.

i wished my velo 8 were backlit.
I'm bumming. I broke down and bought a Sigma 1600 wireless. This replaced a very old Cateye Mini wired. My Sigma resets itself when I hit a bump. I noticed it yesterday. I also don't like the 'rubber band' mounting bracket. I haven't had it long. I think I'll send it back.
So...is there one that is backlit? Cool!
