Not sure what to do. I have two Bikes a KHS Flite 250 Road Bike and a Mongose Rockadile hybride. I'm thinking of doing a bit of cycle touring and wonder if I should trade both bikes for a tourer?

I Love my KHS

Any advice would be appreciated. Especially on good touring bikes.

You might check with the touring forum. They are really into things like this.

Never get rid of a bike to which you have an "attachment". Heard of too many riders getting rid of a bike, whether they rode it much or not, that wished they'd kept it. Regardless of what the future brings- I'll never get rid of my old GT Chromo steel mtn.bike that I have now-although the only original pieces left are the wheels and cassette (original frame cracked a weld-got a replacement and went from there!). Will most likely replace wheels and cassette in the near future-guess I did really get rid of the old bike-just did it piece by piece!
