I have a great chance to buy a Surly Instigator with great stuff on it for very cheap, but ide have to have it shipped by a friend from NH, so I cant get a test ride in. After plenty of years biking I can tell the geometry will suit me fine, but the sizing of surly bikes is something Im unfamilliar with. I am about 5 feet 8 inches tall. Would a 16 inch fit me?

Well, going by Trek and Kona sizing, a 16 inch is pretty spot on for 5'8". If it's their medium, I say go for it.

Surlys are classy bikes.

Ya I thought the same thing but wanted to double check as not to make a mistake. And yes the Surly looks wonderful in orange.

Ride it but I'm going to say it will fit fine. I have the medium (18") and it's perfect, I'm 6'4. I like it a little small but the damn thing will take ANYTHING!!!
