 Hello All!
I just had an interesting conversation with Wizwheelz re ordering a carbon fiber
Edge trike with Aerospoke wheels all around. They said they had tried these on an
Edge and found the lateral stability poor. They used the term "like noodles" to
describe the ride!?. I thought these wheels were the best- anybody have any info?
Many thanks for your expertise!!!
Dante
Maybe on a trike, they noodle. Perhaps they're not designed to be attached on only one side, like they would be on the front. Do you really need Aeros all around? Would you be happy with just one on the back?

Aerospokes are known to be radially stiff, but laterally flexy. Trikes exert a lot of side loads on their wheels, so it makes sense that the Aerospokes would show their bad side the most when on a trike.

:o Hello all!
Yes it is just as you say. I spoke to Bill at Aerospoke today & he confirmed what
Wizwheelz said ... The composite is not stiff enough for trikes & the lateral forces they
incur during cornering. Pity... They would have looked awesome!
