Hopefully this isn't too stupid, but I was thinking of ordering a 2006 model and was wondering if it came with a flipflop hub. When you buy it, it has a freewheel on it dosen't it? My LBS says that they are fixed, but from all the pictures I've seen I'm wondering. If I have to get a new back hub, it's not worth it, I'll build up the frame in my bike room instead, but right now the Filmore is the cheaper option and it comes with a warrenty and decent parts.

Heads up,

2005 model that I own came with the fix/free hub. Promptly made it a suicide on one side and didn't have any problems. I ran a 16 and a 18 on the back and jumped the front chainring to a 46 tooth. That wheelset in on loan to a buddy since I built some Phil's/CXP 33's. Like 165 said, PM me with any questions.

Even if it isn't a flip flop and you want to run a freewheel it'll be fine. Just take off the cog and lockring and thread a freewheel on. Might be a a few mm's off on the chainline, but nothing that will stop you from rolling!
