Ok, my Limar helmet has the velcro inside that holds the padding. Anyways, during those real sweaty days the velcro comes right off. So I replaced the velcro - same problem. The heat must break the stick bond between the velcro and the sides of the helmet. Has anyone had this problem, what else can be used?

Use a 2 stage epoxy to se the velcro.

Superglue. Just give it a while to cure before you use the helmet.

Another vote for super glue. It didn't harm the foam and is very strong.

Ditto. I used a hot glue gun. Avoid glues containing acetone or petroleum distallates (if there are any)... they might disolve the foam.

I tried hot glue before I used super glue, and it came out a few days later. It doesn't bond well enough with the foam--at least in my helmet.

Barge Cement.
