Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - Campy PISTA for STRADA crank trade

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I've tried this before and it almost worked so I'll try it again. I am looking to trade this Campagnolo Record pista crank for a similar Campy Strada (road) crank of the same period. The road crank is to have provisions for a double chainring, of course. Someone out there has to be running a Campy Strada crank on their fixie conversion. Well, heres your chance to accquire a gen-u-ine campy track crankset. I'll even pay for shipping.
Cranks are in great condition and include campy pista chainring bolts (shorter, for one chainring) The finish on the left crank appears to be dulling in certain areas. This is hardly noticable when the cranks are on the bike, but apparently the flash of my camera brings it out alot. There are scratches 'round the pedal holes but these are not noticable when pedals are attatched. Both arms are stamped "pista" on the inside. Encircled "2" on the right crank arm dates it at 1982 and encircled "3" on left arm dates it at 1983.
I'd consider selling these, but would prefer to straight up trade.
If youre interested PM me or reply to this. or both.

BTW. Theyre 170mm cranks.

Your cranks generally go for double what Stradas go for on Ebay so that's not a bad idea.
Another thing is......your cranks use 151 BCD trackrings, not the same as Stradas, just in case people are wondering....
I have the identical Campy Record strada cranks in 170mm.
...but they're in use on my road bike, and I'm not looking to swap my track crankset or get a new road set, even though the idea of the trade is tempting.
Just wanted to rub it in, I guess.
Anyway, that's a sweet crankset, good luck in your search. If I were you I would just keep an eye out for old campy cranksets on ebay. There's enough old Campy stuff on ebay to sink a freighter.
Theyre actually 144bcd cranks. So if you trade me you can use your old chainring. Cmon you know you want to.

I have an extra Strada crankset. Nice too and very clean. They have a brighter appearance as they are without "flutes"(21 - in square). However, I think they're 172.5.

I think I've got some strada 170 cranks, however, the 52 ring blew up at one point and now there is some scratches on one of them.

check your bloody private messages... ;)
I'm putting these on ebay at the end of the week. I thought I'd give people here a chance to make an offer before I put em up. I'm trying to get $150 for them. Price includes shipping to yer door. They'll probably go on ebay for more. If you feel thats unreasonable, make me an offer and I'll consider it. They come with a 45T Nuovo Record chainring (3/32" (booo))
