A guy at my work sees me riding in every morning. He's been talking about riding to work himself (he lives about 5 miles away, owns a basic MTB, rides every afternoon with his kids). This morning he finally commuted to work for the first time, and loved it. Told me I had inspired him - seeing me ride 12+ miles each way rain, hail or shine made him realize that he could ride to work too.

Nice feeling, knowing that you've played a part in helping someone else experience the coolness that is bike commuting.

Now, on to my next victim. :)

Good job stu!!!

By riding in daily, a coworker who is just 2 miles away, decided what the h** and to ride in today. She's more into competition, but it's always nice to see another rider. The more the merrier.

Fantastic! At 2 miles, I'd even walk it - I used to walk about 3km to my office back in Oz.

btw, next target acquired. She's been talking about riding in for a while. Time to move in for the kill. :)

Congradulations man! I just got my friend into road biking and now he's commuting too. It's a bit easier because we are in college and have excellent facilities but it feels so good to know your helping grow our numbers.

The power of example is amazing. Alot of my co-workers thinks it's cool that I commute on my road bike by choice. My brother-in-law whom I work with is also thinking about commuting at least a couple days a week.
