what do you prefer to see?
a well used fixie or a brand new clean one?

i prefer to see a well used fixie, since they looked like they have been well used. also it gives them a bit of character. i like seeing the battle scars and war wounds on them. :p

You're not like the other people here in the trailer park...

And I like to see both kinds of fixies. There's something nice about seeing a brand new, never been touched, one, but it's also nice to see a well-worn beater locked to a parking meter.

especially when it's locked to a parking meter with a big ass nyc chain that you could easily lift over the top. lock jobs like that totally crack me up.

was her bicycle actually stolen while locked up in that way? i remember hearing about its theft, but didn't hear how it was jacked.
