Is there a directory with a list of nutritionists similar to what usa cycling has for coaches?

You want a registed dietician, not a nutritionist. RDs have licencing requirements, nutritionists may have taken two courses at a community college.

I would call you local sports medicince doc and ask who he recommends, or you can see if your insurance has any dieticians "in-plan."

Check with your state health board. Like Sjjone said, nutritionists could be anyone- they're not required to have any classes or licenses either. Dietitians are required to have college degrees, they study for their Masters, and they have to pass state tests to be registered with the state.

Again, check with the state health board. They will have a listing of all registered dietitians in the area.
