I have been riding a bit more this summer than usual. I am starting to see some unrecognizable (to me) muscle definition in my calves. It is like right below the usual calf muscle, a little extra definition, like a seperate muscle. Then also, on the inside of my thighs is another muscle above my knees. I've never seen them before. What are they? I feel like an alien.

I'm sorry, but that was funny. It's called being in shape.
I suspect the muscle about your knee is the vastus medialus,
it's the guy that keeps your knee out of the hospital.
The calf muscle has two parts, the soleus and the gastroc.
Having them stand out a bit is a part of being a biker.

Being in shape is something to be proud of, and we are

:p

You've been abducted by Alien Grays from the planet "DBBEDO(*)^HLDS", and you have mutated into an alien hybrid. You are changing as we speak, into a deformed blob of unrecognizable flesh, which they will one day recover and disect for experimentation.

Don't worry, it won't hurt a bit.
