Winter Cycling - Perhaps the one forum I haven't posted in yet.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I'm just posting this thread so that I can say I've actually posted in the 'winter cycling' forum. I haven't had much reason to post here before, what with living in a part of Queensland that isn't called "Stanthorpe".

You can all go back to your lives now.

How appropriate considering you're in the middle of winter right now. :D

Evidently you've not visited this little corner of the world. Our winter probably has identical weather conditions to your summer  .

Actually I have been to Australia. Arrived Christmas Day and spent 6 weeks. Snooped around Sydney and travelled by train north, staying in hostels. Spent a couple of days in Brisbane and took a cat to Heron Island for a 6 night stay. It was one of the best holidays I've ever had and would love to do it again someday.

Just because you don't get snow doesn't mean it isn't still winter! :roflmao: But you knew that already :D

Chris, you are lusting after "snow," no? Yes, tell the truth!

(I am.)
