Hey guys my b-days in 3 days and I need singlespeed mountain bike must have! Well I have a redline bmx single x and man that thing is durable. It hasen't given me one problem and I take it off road and trail riding and stuff. I was wondering if the monocog was any good. I wanted a single speed so long. I reallly like the looks of the bike, Thanks for any info.

The monocog is a great bike for the price . Look on ebay for the bike . In my area most shops are sold and cannot get any. I have two monocogs. I have one set up for winter riding. You should be able to find one used at a good price. Have a good day.

Just one note, if you find a new monocog frame set and want to build it up yourself. the rear drop out spacing was 110mm which will make finding a hub (esp one that works w a disc) challenging. And you'll also end up having to build a rear wheel. Happy BDAY, hope you find a nice complete monocog!
