I usually don't worry about these things but today I got really annoyed. I was stuck behind some ancient combine harvester going at about 2mph. He couldn't see me, I reckon, and wasn't going to pull in to let a bicycle pass him on a narrow country road. He did for a car though.
It was a couple of hundred yards from town, so I just decided to sit there behind him and wait. Another car appeared and started driving parallel to me, which I thought was dangerous. The car then sort of cruised out on the wrong side of the road beside me forcing the combine to let her pass. He did. As she was driving beside me I gave her a WTF are you doing stare and then beckoned for her to pass while I dropped down a bit.
I'm in Ireland and I guess most of you guys are in America but generally does a bike have the same status as a car or are you supposed to pull over and not interfere with Mr. Motorist?
