Hi Ya'll! Arrived in Boulder today at about 4:00. Been to a couple bike shops already but my riding buddy won't get here until tomorrow, so no ride pics yet. I'm so psyched for the rides!:D

This scene looks like one familiar to me on every visit to my grandmother Hylan and my cousins, the Rileys, in Boulder.

Do the Flatirons still have "CU" (for "Colorado University") painted on them?

This picture is probably not far from where my cousins and I picked apples from my grandmother's tree and rolled them into the street to watch them get crushed by passing cars on Baseline Drive.

My heart is longing...

Don't know about the Flatirons, but you are correct about Baseline. About a mile as the crow flies. We took Baseline up into the mountains to get to Walker Ranch. Good eye Pete!:)

Dirtgrinder,

You are crazy if you ever leave that place.

But don't worry. When you die, that's where you'll go!

I'll bet you went right past Grandma's old house. It was built around 1920. I forget the address, but I'm thinking, 1550 Baseline Dr. Talk about a steep climb!
