Since the weather was "cool" (low 90's) and the breeze was light (prior to hurricane Katrina), I set out this morning & covered 30 miles in 1.5 hours (a NEW PERSONAL BEST for my overweight body). I'm trying to "ride my age on my birthday" this October with a 53 miler. Ain't life grand?! :)

Heck, the way you're training, you'll have it done before breakfast.

25 in two hours, especially with all those hills you took in the numerous stops for coffeee is pretty good.

I mean it, when you started posting you were not doing 25 miles, and you weren't doing 12.5 mph average. Keep up the training and you'll be another century rider by the end of the year

well done
