Nice article on the efforts of Critical Mass in the Twin Cities.

The article was one of the most balanced I've see on CM so far. I've been riding in the Minneapolis CM rides since January (Missed the March debacle though [business trip].
They've come a long way and it's good to see them get the recognition.

There's also a new Critical Mass book out. Called "Critical Mass; Bicycling's Defiant Celebration" edited by Chris Carlson. It's printed by AK Press and is getting distribution through "real" bookstores. A good read. Cris Carlson did a good job editing, getting samplings of the flavor of Critical Mass from a variety of cities and countries. (In Germany, one writer describes how he once functioned as a one-man Critical Mass -- one bicyclist with a eight-man motorcycle police escort through the streets of Stuggart, Germany.)
