Bananas - for some reason bananas taste really good this week - Potassium deficiency?
Last week it was water, I was drinking water and sloshing around all week, couldn't get enough of that cool, refreshing liquid.
Tuna -- Gotta be the tuna, usually it is okay, but this week! wow!

Friday it was ORANGE JUICE. I'm tellin' you i had to have it & pulled in to a store for some. I looked at the ingredients on the bottle and found much more potassium there than I ever realized was in orange juice. Funny, my legs were cramping the night before.

Our bodies do seem to know what we need most, don't they?
(Unfortunately, mine seems to believe I have an ice cream and honey-mustard pretzel deficiency...)

Water.....there was mold and dish soap in my camelback.....YUM!
Tomatoes! I had to have baked tomatoes with dinner tonight- I was just craving them. Must be the salt or ascorbic acid or something.

This week chocolate tastes really good.
Last week chocolate tasted really good.
The week before that chocolate tasted really good.
The week before the week before chocolate tasted really good.
All of last month chocolate tasted really good.
All of the month before that chocolate tasted really good.
Throughout the last few years chocolate tasted really good.
Throughout the last decade chocolate tasted really good.
Throughout my entire life chocolate has tasted really good.
Went on a 100k ride yesterday and when I got back home I JUST HAD TO HAVE Ritz crackers. We had the 50% less salt kinda.... ate 'em all, dry, no toppings.
Later that night I craved a milk shake, gotta large at DQ.

Funny you should ask :D
Yesterday I ate the customary dirt, rose bush, 2 small pieces of gravel, a filth covered mint and really scary GU pack that had collected a dusting of everything listed previously. None of these seemed terribly wonderful but in the last 10 minutes of my ride, 4 hours 50 minutes down I turned to avoid a dog pile while navigating a nasty stretch of tire pinching, a$$ busting rocks and suddenly found myself flying over the bars>>>>
To my utter dismay I landed face first in a nice, big, fresh road apple. I'm not sure what that horse was eating but I promise that every ounce of water, piece of cracker, lint from the bottom of the camelbak or squirrel tail (poor slow fellow) all tasted better than anything I had put in my mouth in a long time.
Last week I couldn't drink enough OJ. After downing the stuff like it was free for three days my body was happy.
Vitamin C??

My trip home tonight was quick, because I had a styrofoam box of ice- packed, freshly caught salmon in my handlebar bag. It was especially good tasting. Thanks to my boss, the fisherman.

Cheese and chicken...
I have 'fads' of differing foods. Sometimes baked taters, others soup...
