Has anyone used the Cambiatta <http:www.cambiatta.com> system for data collection / download from your existing HRM & computer?

I am considering it, but would value input from anyone who has used it. IS it reliable? Accurate? How is the software? A good training aid? Seems reasonably priced. Thanks, -pai

I have used the Cambiatta DAT since it first came out at the beginning of the summer. In talking with other users I have noticed some confusion about how it works. The unit doesn't receive transmissions from your cycle computer directly. It comes with two wireless transmitters, which can be attached to your chainstay (what I prefer) and will transmit speed and cadence to the DAT. The DAT will also receive signals from your noncoded HR strap (not from your HR watch).

The system has been very reliable for me and the software has been easy to use. An interesting feature of the software is it's ability to remove zeros from your data recordings and to smooth the data at whatever level you feel is appropriate. As we all know dropped signals or data is a common accurance but Cambiatta has addressed this in their software....hope this helps.
