At about 7:00 p.m. here in St. Louis, MO, we started some downpours from the outer edges of Katrina's clouds. That storm is a monster. Hope all you on the Gulf coast have weathered it well. I'll keep you in my thoughts.

Yes, it is huge!

I was living about 75 miles from the center of Andrew when it cross Florida and we had Category 1 conditions. And this, I think, is bigger.

I'm well inland in Alabama and the Tornado sirens have been on and off all day. Of course I still needed to ride to class. :rolleyes:

All the way up in canada...the remains of it will hit my area on wed....not the greatest day for riding.

We just have some paniced, ignorant tourists here. One told asked me when we were evacuating, since New Orleans is due South of Hilton Head, SC. The joy of watching someone buy something too expenive and seeing them try to get out of it for free.
