1. Your favorite wetsuit...or most hated. (I need one--real users are the best to ask...forget the adds!)
2. Any advice on keeping your head looking forward in the tri-bike position for 2 and a half hours (half iron man)? (I MUCH prefer to look at my knees after the first 30 minutes of riding).
Thanks
David

1. I've only tried 2, and preferred the QR HydroFull to the UltraFull. I don't have a lot of experience with either, though.
2. Assuming that your bike setup is right for your body geometry and level of flexibility, I've found a thing or two that helps. Every few minutes,
a) look far left, then far right.
b) shrug your shoulders; sometimes I combine this with (a)
c) when safe for traffic, terrain, etc. look down briefly.
I do this even when my neck and shoulders don't yet hurt, and whether or not I'm down on the aerobars or not (i.e., when climbing). and find that it both delays the onset of discomfort and reduces it's severity.
The only one I've used, UltraJohn
I don't know, I only start looking down when I'm tired and at that point it's a mental game not a physical one.

You need to get a proper fit in your aero position and you normally will not be in the aero position the entire time...turn arounds, hills etc...
See ya out there.

I love the Aquaman Bionic wetsuit, it looks as if it is too small as it fits above the ankles and wrists, but it sure is comfortable and easy to get off and fits like a second skin and the zipper fastens down not up for easy removal.
Bike fit is important and good strong shoulder ,neck muscles . every so often do shoulder shrugs and turn head from side to side. other than that check the stem length is not too long as can cause a strain on your upper body and tire out the neck. good Luck

I have a weird question. I SCUBA dive 2 or 3 times per year in lakes/rivers around where i live. In fact, if you live near the Smoky Mountains it's one of the best places to night dive I have ever been. My question is, if I bought a really good TRI suit, could I use it during March/April/Sept/Oct in East Tennessee?

I wouldn't...you are pretty likely to tear the suit with your gear. They weren't designed to have a BC and a tank worn over them.
Yes H20Chick...I scuba dive too and I have lots of gear... :)

I have a Promotion suit. It fits me a lot better than the Ironman or the Xterra that I tried on. Unfortunately, you have to order it by phone or online. But they spend a lot of time working with you to get the right fit. It's also about 1/2 the price of the others.

The seconds tick like hours if I look at my knees as I ride. I try looking all around to take my mind off the stress and pain

Hi there, I am a scuba instructor ( hence my slow swim times iin Ironman races!) I definately would not wear a triathlon wetsuit for scuba diving as they are made differently and it would be an expensive mistake to make. keep your tri suit for swimming and purchace a bodyglove for diving. hope this helps .

Just to emphasize suzyultra, triathlon wetsuits are made to be slippery in the water as a primary focus, the fact they insulate, and make you positivley bouyent is a plus.
Scuba diving wet suits, are made to keep you warm, not fast. The trade off is durability, you will almost never see a diving suit with fingernail tears liek you will a swimming wet suit.
So like was said, diving suits for diving, tri suits for tri.......sucks that you cant use em for both, but ya. You r other option is to buy a 2mm diving suit, adn use it in tris. Not as effective as a real trithlon wetsuit, but it will work for both if that is what you are looking for.
