Electric Bikes - Just bought a new toy

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Just bought a new toy, may not be to everyones liking but it serves a purpose. Not picked it up yet so can't post any photos or give any comments.
Anyway, it's a last season Eco-Tornado Spoked http://www.electric-bikes-uk.com/ same bike bar disc brakes and LED lights. I figure I'll use it more for commuting and when having one of those 'lazy' days :) .
Looks like a nice toy :)
They are great fun on windy days and for upsetting roadies when climbing steep hills :)
If it's like my bikes top end on the flat for the motor is 20~25 kph but it is easy to hold that same speed up hills. I use mine just for something different or if I am carrying an injury.
You don't have to use them only for lazy days I often come back dripping in sweat because I use the motor to allow me to acheive a higher overall speed on hilly routes, mountain bike tracks are fun with the extra power especially if you have a powered front wheel ie. 2 wheel drive.
If yours will start from 0 speed drag racing cars and bikes of the lights is great fun, the bikes have no chance and cars have to work at beating you to 30 ish.
I hope you enjoy your new bike, but be aware they can be very addictive you will be jumping on it at the least excuse because even if you are tired you can adjust to a setting that will allow you to keep riding with just the right amount of exercise.

Can't wait till tomorrow now. Been having a quick browse on the net and I've found these;
One of Steven Segal and two of the UK Police. Would be interesting to know if they still use them.
