Petacchi, Hushovd, Zabel at the finish, all with the same time (along with many others in the group sprint).

Overall stays the same - McGee, Bertagnolli +32", Flecha +39".

Somewhat off point, but I had to watch the first bit on Eurosport (who televised the feed even before TVEi today), and I saw, for the first time ever, a TV ad for Maserati! Pretty good too.

It seems a little unbelievable, but there were no DNFs today. The stage was 232+ Km long, and the heat was - by two separate accounts - 43 C and 45 C! That is well over 100 F.

That temperature is unbelievable and I believe it was the longest stage of the entire tour.

Indeed it was. Interviews with some of the DSs by commentators on motos brought similar replies to questions about the heat: it is bad for everyone, but Spanish riders should be able to take it better
