'78 AD Vent Noir frameset:

Size is 57x57cm ctc. Too big for me. No dings, dents, crash damage, etc. A very nice frame.
Thanks for having a look!
I really, really wish you hadn't done that.
I may make a run at it.
May I sleep on your couch?

No, I'm sleeping there... My wife's not at all happy having her new car in the driveway, so I need to make more garage space... Got another couple of interesting things that size going up soon too... Anyone into early '70s Motobecanes?
Can I sleep in your garage? That seems to be where I want to be!
You're really saving for an XK-120, right?

Prefer the XK-150s.... Actually, if you knew how many vintage bike and old English car projects I have lined up, you wouldn't believe...
maximum pleasure, maximum grief. old english cars are quite simply torture of the best and worst kind...my ex had a '52 MG-TD that she endlessly tortured me with. Well, not endlessly, or course.
I just bought an '80 Favori frame and fork (Ellis Briggs). Another English project. I have unloaded my toy car to appease my wife.
So are you gonna make us guess what the reserve is?

Reserve on the AD's $50 lower than the Raleigh & Serotta frames... $275 on the AD. I paid $425 for the whole bike (4 years ago), so if the frame sells for the reserve of $275, I get the 1st gen. DA group for around $150 (less my listing, final value & PayPal charges..). That DA group's going on my "Bartlett Pear" custom (Don Bartlett, Chicago area) from about that same period.
