new bars. i need your take on this

I'm getting new bars soon. I'm thinking about either getting the new shadow conspiracy 11B bars or the Fly 3Amigo's bars. The Shadow 11B's are 24 and something ounces while the Fly bars are just over a pound. The Fly bars are lighter but the shadow bars are stronger. I still ride the eastern stock bars. I do tend to break bars somewhat constantly, but the new shadow bars seem to be unbreakable with the new 11B design. Yet i also like very light parts. But i need your take on this one.

Go for the stronger bars. Its not like a few more ounces will really make much of a difference.

I ride T1 bars. They're strong, comfortable, but I dont know how much they weigh. I'm not very weight concious, so it's not a big deal..

no, just regular ones. I was young and for some reason thought thought that was cool. and to make fun of some kid who traded his awesome new bike for van's beat up thing he was riding at the time.

slams are still too wide for me. i run two levers and when cut down to a size I like (not even super skinny, just mabye to 26 or so (thats and inch on each side)) my levers end up on the bend and my grips end up super small.

while I have ridden many pairs of slams, cut and uncut (I learned barspins with uncut slams), I prefer the T-1 bars I have now. I wish they were taller though, as my back hurts all the time...

to the original poster, get whatever bars you want. when your skills increase and you have spent a few years on a bike, you won't have to ask these questions....
