I see where everyone sells conversion-to-triple ring kits (cranks, bb, both derailleurs, chain, shifters). Well I've got a triple and want to move to a double. What all do I have to replace? Thanks

prolly the BB and crankset.. the shifter can be set up to do only triple. there will be an empty click basically (better than spending 300bux)

and thats all..

if urr weight conscious you can move back to the small cage derailleur altho thats not needed

Block the shift to the granny with the low llimit screw and put on a 39 ring to replace the 42.The cheap easy way.
