Hello.

I joined here to find out about some very basic things about bike maintanence and such in order to keep my bike going so that I can get to school.

I got a Mongoose bike but I have no idea how to take care of it.

Also a question....

What the heck is this stuff? I searched the forums but no results came up for the name "Tetrabike." It claims to be much better than Triflow which everyone seems to use. And also DuPont has a few Teflon products... Thought this test made it a bit sketchy...

Anyways... I know this was a intro post but I had to ask!

Welcome to the forums!

Still, you'll want to place your question in the Bicycle Mechanics forum. I would venture to say that not many people read the intros so they could find questions about bike problems. ;) If you go to the forum where you need questions answered, you'll definitely find what you're looking for.
