General Cycling Discussion - Cool, informative link: yarchive.net/bike

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I'm sure it's been mentioned before, but I came across this tonight while trying to learn a few things about steel tubing. It seems to be archived Usenet posts, sorted by a real human into a pretty cohesive structure, on many, many bicycling subjects. Many of the articles are attributed to Jobst Brandt, who wrote The Bicycle Wheel (http://sheldonbrown.com/harris/books.html#brandt) , and there is also a lot of material with Sheldon Brown's comments.
