Greetings! Just purchased my first REAL bike Sunday. It's a 2001 Trek 7300. I am in love. :love: But I need lots of advice on bike gear and maintenance. Will be using my bike mainly for crusin' around town. My goal is to get rid of that blasted internal (infernal) combustion monster in my garage. Greatly enjoy the site and all the advice from the experienced. Will visit often.

Congrats on purchasing your first 'real bike'. I also purchased a bike over the weekend -- a Univega road bike. It's my First Road Bike, and a great bike it is. :D

Welcome from a former Clevelander and still Browns fan. I hope you enjoy the site. David Class of 74 Lincoln-West. I did my first major bike riding out there when my first girl friend lived in Chagrin Falls and I lived in the Archwood Neighborhood on the near west side. I too, am working to get rid of that infernal internal combustion money pit. I am working towards an October free car month and maybe a 2003 car free year. I haven't driven my car in 2 weeks :beer:
