I don't watch much TV, but I saw this show on Discovery and I think it's really cool. This guy, Bruce Parry, goes to Africa and other such places and stays with these tribes for months while becoming a member and participating in rituals. I thought it was a great way to show the whole National Geographic thing with more participation on the host's part.

Anybody else watch this?

I rather enjoy it. I think the angle that they're documenting cultures that will most likely be gone soon is very valid, and I think the host does a wonderful job of respecting the people and practices of those folks he visits with. As a matter of fact, there's a new episode tonight that I rather look forward to. Perhaps Stacey should watch it as well--I seem to recall from the commercial the butchering and consumption of rats. ;)

I think its a pretty good show. It teaches you to appreciate other cultures.
