Fork: monroe coil single crown (65mm travel) fork
The problem is that it's absolutely inelastic. I.e. 0mm travel. Is it repairable or should I start looking for another fork?

Did you get this on a Jeep bike? Either way I would replace it. Even if you have a warranty there are forks out there that are cheap and higher quality.

Yup, it's a Jeep alright. I'm not really up to the extreme so I don't want to invest a lot in my bike yet.

What forks would you recommend?

I dont know the size of the headtube but you could start investing in your future. If it is a 1 1/8 headtube any new fork will fit. This will be a worthwhile investment into your next bike.

What is your price range, cdn or amer, and what type of riding woud you like to do.

Forests/off-road/hills and some city riding, perhaps. As for the price range, I have no idea of the market situation so I can't really decide on it.

Bah, the more I look at the prices on the internet, the more convinced that buying a new bike will be cheaper I get.
