Okay, I got a really nice Graham Watson poster and had it plaque mounted. It's great and all...but I have no clue how to mount it.

This is how it looks from the back

now if I had any drawing abilities, I'd try to show that the "two circle plus a rectangle section" (marked by the #1) is the only part that is sunken into the board - so naturally, it's the only place where I can mount the thing.

Can anyone help? I don't want to destroy the board sticking a nail into it or something :)

If there's a really easy and simple solution, please excuse my ignorance because I have not had much experience mounting things :D

it doesn't look like that, its a slot about 1 1/2 inc long and the other end is a round hole, place the screw at the round hole and slide the screw to the center of the slot, balance the picture frame... there you have it hanging on the wall

What orguasch said. That opening and groove works best with something like a 10-penny nail pounded into the wall: the larger opening permits you to slide it over the nail head, and the interior angle of the groove gives the nail head something to rest against when you find the balance point. This type of hanging system definitely does not work well with standard picture hanging hooks, though; the hooks are designed for wire, and will not fit well with the groove.
