Was riding time atac's for a while, sold them with the bike... the next bike I got had SPD's.
I couldn't afford to drop another $100 to get new atac's(should have kept my old ones).
I thought I'd try the SPD's, a little weird at first but I got used to it. they'd unclip every once in while when skipping/skidding, scary.
Finally got new atac xs pedals and DAMN! So much better. got the float back, that easy clip in and out, the quality.
Anybody else make a little change to anything on ther bike that made a huge difference?
