When you buy an fsr at the store they range in price from like 2000 to about 5000 bucks, My question is are the frames the same? Can I buy the 2000 dollar bike and upgrade it over time to the 5000 dollar bike? And what is the big difference between the Stumpjumper and the fsr xc's frames? I knoticed that It looks alittle different but is it much heavier or something? I want to buy a specialized fsr as my next bike and I would happily spend a grand for the xc but am alittle apprehensive to spend another grand on the stumpjumper but if its like a night and day difference than I would consider it.
