I am new to cycling and too intimidated to talk to the cyclists in my area. So I am hoping I can get my questions answered here. I just bought a Peugeot road frame off ebay, so any suggestions any one has for gear/components would be appreciated. I usually mountain bike with the BF on the easy trails in the area on the weekends:)

Hi and welcome to the forums. Good to have you here. I noticed you asked the same questions in more than one thread. In fact, I gave you an answer in one of them.

You may find yourself getting moderately chided by one of the moderators should you make a habit out of posting the same message in more than one place.

I'm looking forward to more postings from you since I too am new to the road bike scene.
