ok, look at the pic i put in. there's a bolt there the red arrow is pointing that needs to be tightened, but before that, loosen the bolts at the blue arrows half a turn each, then tighten the one at the red arrow, then retighten the bolts at the blue arrows.

Yeah, but my wife doesn't like little boys, so I thought I'd be kind and not go there. You should show a bit of respect. Unless you want me to post things about your mom. Do we have an understanding?

i messed up my ankle and they couldnt tell if it was a break or a growth plate. so they said it was either sprained or broken. they gave me crutches and i was supposed to use them for five days. but they were a b*ch to use at school so im just useing this brace. its only sprained

sorry to stop your convosation ;) but i have tried loosening the bolts and tightening the forks, but they still shake. Also when i tried to tighten the fork the bolt only move a couple of mm.
Am i just really weak or is there somthing else that could cauise the shaking?
I know for sure that it is not the handlebars that are loose
cheers

is your headset installed properly?
are the bearings in the headset ok?
take it to a bike shop. i could likely fix it for you, but we're in different countries.

i took it to the bike shop and they told me the same thing you did at the start

ok, well my mates bike has the same problem and i fixed it like this:

remove stem completely by undoing and removing the bolts in the pic i supplied earlier, and take the fork out by GENTLY tapping with a rubber mallet and shaking it out.
then clean out all dirt or anything, and put the forks, the stem, etc back on the bike.

VITALLY IMPORTANT to tighten the bolt at the RED arrow FIRST and then the 2 bolts at the blue arrows.

your friend might have damaged the headset while he still owned the bike, so chack the bearings aren't flattened or crushed when the fork is out.
