here's the description:
his Shwinn Suburban is in good condition.
Gears 5
Battery operated Light
Green color
Length from crank to seat post 19inches
It have a rack above the rear wheel
27inch wheels
No rust
Good brakes.
Derailleur/Gear may need some adjustment.

The bike is in working condition. When I use it I rarely shift the gear. Wheels are good.

I have to get rid of this bike.

If you badly need it and you can't pay, you may take it.

ps: This is an old bike.
Fact is... if I was to bring it home, my gal would skewer me, but I'm curious

Buy it, fix it, and risk getting skewered. These old Schwinns with electro-forged frames are bulletproof and unappreciated.

Scooper's got it; they're Cadillacs. And at that price you can afford to pay someone to push it up hills. :D

For urban utility use & grocery getter you will not find a more durable
nor better bike at any price. These old Schwinn are almost bulletproof
for toughness.

And the weight we all like to make fun of delivers a couple of benefits; with the tires at around 70 pounds it'll soak up all sorts of surface irregularities. The other is Newton's Second Law of Motion -- once you get that weight rolling, it wants to keep rolling. They'll coast forever.

I concur with all the positive things previously mentioned. They only thing I don't like about the Suburban is they didn't make it in a 26" frame. Had they made the tall frame, I'd be riding one instead of a Continental. The other thing about the Suburban that I really like is the painted fenders.

I'd never seen a black Suburban until I got that '70 ladies model I had last month; apparently it was the only year they made a black one. Boy, that color really amplifies the bike's personality; every bit as much class and refinement as a Raleigh Tourist -- and for a self-appointed Sheriff of Nottingham like me, that's a hell of an admission. I parked it next to my Superbe and it made the Raleigh look like a Free Spirit.
