Hello everyone. I'm writing from a house full of old garage sale bikes. Our favorite right now is a ladies 5 speed Vista Duchess. Its very heavy but rides smooth on shiny old steel 27" wheels. We live on a coastal bike path in RI and ride daily until snow stops us. I've been reading in the forum for a long time and thought it about time to join. Here is our bike list: Nishiki sport hybrid with 28c road tires, Giant mountain bike with 26x1.5 michelin all purpose tires, raliegh c30 ( great rider!) Sears Free Spirit
(c. 1972) 10 speed converted to a flat bar/thumb shifter picnic bike, with a basket and a rear rack.
