Green all the way. My first ten-speed was a used Raleigh Gran Prix that was that dark British green. It had a black portion on the down tube and "Raleigh" in fine gold paint. Very classy, even if it was banged up and used up by the time I got. I bought another years later for old time's sake, but it was white and orange  and I never took to it.

If you're going to depart from stock colors (and why not?) how about a metallic copper, or coffee?
And if you want to put on a new set of decals after it's painted, let me know.

Green. preferably BRG, either traditional or even what they spray the Mini Cooper now.
Bentley - BRG
Jaguar - BRG
Lotus - BRG
Mini - BRG (except for the Monte Carlo Rally winning RED one)
TVR - BRG
See a trend?
